How does it work?
You need a Microsoft account (free) and the Edge web browser.
Simply log in to your Microsoft Rewards page and complete the tiles you see to earn points. Log in every day and complete the tiles for a streak bonus. Earn more points for completing searches in the BING search engine.
What are the levels?
You start at level 1 and if you earn enough points you move to level 2 which allows you to earn more points. Level 2 is the top level.
How much can I earn?
It’s a points based system and it rewards you for using it every day. The points are then claimed against gift cards. In a month I average over 6000 points if I log in habitually. A £5 Tesco voucher is 7600 points. So throughout a year it could help with your Christmas shop or if you purchase Microsoft products such as Game Passes your points are worth more so worth doing as a but extra and if you get your family involved you can save your points up.
Is it worth doing?
The tasks certainly aren’t taxing to do and can mostly be done within about 5 minutes. You aren’t going to get rich from doing it but if you do it steadily over a year you can expect to end up with about £40 in vouchers (depending on what each voucher costs) which isn’t bad. My family save our points up and use the vouchers for Christmas time / the Christmas food shop.
The real benefit will be if you use Microsoft services alread,y where your points are worth more than at shops like Tesco for example.
Some may find the lack of vouchers restrictive, especially if you don’t use Microsoft products or use the few shops that they pay out vouchers for and there is no way to get actual cash.
If you are prepared to do the work (grind) however, it’s a great way to save up over the year to get yourself or family something towards Christmas.
